when brick become water soaked damaged spalled and delaminated it may be necessary to replace them or patch them. patching brick involves applying colored fortified mortar over the missing the detiorated section of brick them trying to blend in with the existing masonry work.
replacing brick on the other hand involves finding a matching masonry units cutting out the damaged brick work and then installing new masonry
